The Ice Man Cometh

For some reason this pic uploaded side wasys. This is our spiral willow and it is a spiral willow ice tree this morning. The ice and rain just keeps on falling. Everything is covered with about 1/2 inch of ice. All of the schools and just about everything else is closed today.
The Gazebo is covered with ice and long ice cycles. Burrrrrrr! Baby it is cold outside.
No power for about 4 hous this morning, but came back on about 8 o'clock.

Wow!! For something that is so devastating, it sure is beautiful, too. Your willow is like an ice sculpture!

Stay warm, Linda, there´ll be spring one day ... I´m so glad that it isn´t THAT cold here in Germany yet!

Amazing... here in California, we think it's cold when it's 55 degrees! I hope your power continues to stay on!

My thoughts are with you. It can get rough. It does make for striking photos, though. We were lucky here in St. Louis to miss most of this -- so far...

Beautiful icicles, I love it when "Jack Frost" has been out painting everything so it looks like it has been dusted with icing sugar - great photos
